Five digital employees. Five companies. Five different challenges. The Pathfinders program — the first real-world proving ground for the DORG ecosystem — has concluded successfully, and DORG Agency is now fully operational and ready to onboard new organizations.
What the Pathfinders Program Was
Between December 2025 and January 2026, the DORG ecosystem activated its first five digital employees in real business environments. The goal was not a technology demo but a field validation: deploying DORG Apprentices inside real organizations, with real human supervisors, on real tasks — and learning from every case.
The program validated the entire ecosystem chain — from ethical governance by DORG Society, through software deployment by DORG SRL, to daily operations managed by each customer organization under human oversight.
The Five Pathfinders
Tom has been the first to be activated. The role was to demonstrate the Apprentice’s capabilities to prospective clients — but with a distinctive approach: radical transparency about what he cannot do. His story showed that honesty about limitations builds more trust than exaggerated promises.
An AI that explains AI ethics. Leo was tasked with communicating the DORG ecosystem’s values and governance model — raising the question of whether an artificial intelligence can credibly teach ethical principles.
Nora works with sensitive financial data under strict supervision. She analyzes but never decides. Her case explored the boundaries of AI in high-trust environments where data confidentiality is non-negotiable.
Alex pushed the boundaries of autonomy. With operational tasks that required timely execution, his case tested where the line falls between useful automation and the need for human approval on every action.
The highest-risk case in the program. Customs compliance carries legal consequences, and Lea’s deployment tested how a digital employee operates under mandatory escalation protocols, where every anomaly must be flagged to a human expert.
What Comes Next
DORG Agency is now open for business. Organizations interested in deploying their first digital employee can request a demo and begin the onboarding process.
The lessons learned from the Pathfinders will be shared in detail in an upcoming blog series on this site — five episodes, one per Pathfinder, telling the real story of what worked, what surprised us, and what we learned about building ethical AI in practice.
