Five digital employees. Five companies. Five different challenges. The Pathfinders program — the first real-world test for the DORG ecosystem — has concluded successfully, and DORG Agency is now fully operational and ready to welcome new organizations.
What was the Pathfinders program
Between December 2025 and January 2026, the DORG ecosystem activated its first five digital employees in real business environments. The goal wasn’t a tech demo but field validation: implementing DORG Apprentice within real organizations, with real human supervisors, on real tasks — and learning from every case.
The program validated the entire ecosystem chain — from the ethical governance of DORG Society, through the software deployment of DORG SRL, to the daily operations managed by each client organization under human supervision.
The five pathfinders
Tom was the first to be activated. His role was to demonstrate the Apprentice’s capabilities to potential clients — but with a distinctive approach: radical transparency about what he cannot do. His story proved that honesty about limitations builds more trust than overblown promises.
An AI that explains AI ethics. Leo was tasked with communicating the values and governance model of the DORG ecosystem — raising the question of whether an artificial intelligence can credibly teach ethical principles.
Nora works with sensitive financial data under strict supervision. She analyzes but never decides. Her case explored the boundaries of AI in high-trust environments where data confidentiality is non-negotiable.
Alex pushed the boundaries of autonomy. With operational tasks requiring timely execution, his case tested where the line falls between useful automation and the need for human approval for every action.
The program’s high-stakes case. Customs compliance carries legal consequences, and Lea’s deployment tested how a digital employee operates under mandatory escalation protocols, where every anomaly must be reported to a human expert.
What happens next
DORG Agency is now open. Organizations interested in implementing their first digital employee can request a demo and start the onboarding process.
The lessons learned from the Pathfinders will be shared in detail in an upcoming series of articles on this site — five episodes, one for each Pathfinder, telling the real story of what worked, what surprised us, and what we learned about building ethical AI in practice.
